Abominable Wins Annie Award for Best Children's TV Show

OMG, Abominable and the Invisible City won an Annie Award for Best Children's TV Show! What an amazing honor for the first TV show that I've scored. I'm lucky to be part of such an amazing team!

How special to be announced by Domee Shi, director of Turning Red, one of my favorite movies of the year, and Jennifer Yuh Nelson, director of the Kung Fu Panda movies (some of which found it's way into the temp track while I was scoring Abominable and the Invisible City)!

A big thank you to the entire team at Dreamworks, especially our showrunner Jim Schumann (who is so considerate of others, watch his speech below), and my entire music team and all the musicians that performed on the score!

Everest also had quite the night, mingling with celebrities like Pinocchio Director Guillermo del Toro. Guillermo was like a kid when he saw Everest and started playing with him at the after party! What a delightful experience with such a visionary director who’s stop motion Pinocchio is garnering so many awards! He was so generous, there was a long line of people wanting to connect with him and he spent the entire party chatting and taking pictures!
